I remember being much younger and jumping on this newfangled internet world-wide-web thing, which connected us all through a “series of tubes”. Back then, I discovered NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day, a curated image accompanied by a scientific explanation of the astronomical phenomenon behind it.

I was hooked. And I’m glad that it’s still running strong.

This week, APOD celebrates its 30th anniversary. It’s a great milestone for an awesome little slice of daily learning, inspiration, and zen.
